October also brings the annual two day Normandy Beer Festival when various local Breweries get together to show their wares. People tend not to associate France with beers and ales but there are several micro breweries near to Le Bosquet producing excellent products.
Two euros buys a mug and the chance to sample all the ales available until you decide which one(s) you prefer. Everything is on offer from light wheat beers through to rich dark stouts in relaxed, informal surroundings.
