At the beginning of the 20th Century, the encumbent Cure embarked on a project to use Medeival methods to educate his parishoners. The interior and exterior walls were covered with murals containing prayers, catechism and annoucements.
In 2004, the facade of the church was restored to be identical to how it appeared in 1900.
