This 9km walk starts and ends at the bridge over the lake at Rabodanges. At its furthest reaches is Vieux St-Aubert its original chapel built by Monks from the abbey at Mount Staint-Michel before AD1000. A thriving village grew and at its peak in 1810, 639 people lived there. However by the end of the last century a new church was built on the hill above and the village centre moved to the more readily accessible location.
