After the war Le Bosquet was home to Cesar Martinelli, he was an Italian stone mason who moved to France in 1923 to repair the original bridge dating from the Middle Ages. He met and married a local girl, set up his own company, settled down and took French nationality.
Unfortunately he was held as a prisoner by the Germans from 1940 until 1944 when at the end of the war he formed his enterprise to rebuild the village.
